AFCO Constitution

The governing framework that unites and guides the African Council of Optometry — establishing the principles, structures, and processes that enable continental collaboration in eye health.

The Foundation of AFCO

Adopted in 1998 and revised in 2018, the AFCO Constitution provides the legal and organizational framework for the Council’s operations, defining membership rights, governance structures, and the processes that ensure accountability and transparency.
